Roger had an interest in finances and economics from an early age, so it was no surprise he decided to pursue a career in financial services. However, he quickly realized the brokerage world was more interested in its own bottom line than in serving clients' needs. He pivoted to financial planning, focusing on creating more secure, reliable retirement income strategies for individuals and families.

For more than 30 years, Roger has been helping clients enjoy retirements they might not have thought possible — and learning from them what it means to be happily retired. Utilizing a financial approach that is client-focused and outcome-based has allowed Roger to help alleviate his clients' anxieties around factors like market risk or being able to afford health care. According to Roger, much of it comes down to helping people understand why they are saving and investing, so they can make better choices.

"Many clients who thought they didn't have enough to retire with are enjoying their retirement after working with me," says Roger. "I've realized people can usually live better and happier by not following conventional asset modeling for retirement."

Roger is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC^®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RIPC^®) from the American College. He has passed the Series 3, 6 and 22 securities exams and holds insurance licenses for life, health, annuity and long-term care. He also is a Certified Paralegal for Estate Planning. Roger has been featured in NorthBay biz magazine and the Mill Valley Herald.

When he's not helping clients, Roger enjoys spending time with his wife, Davi, and their two grown children, Bari and Matt, along with their long-time pet (and now retired office dog), Rocco. Roger also is passionate about golf, sports, health and fitness and community service.
