Every year that goes by these days seem to be shorter. Life has become so busy, hectic and crazy for most of us that time seems to accelerate. I hope you have some time over the holidays to remember all the great things in your life and to just enjoy who you are and where you are at. I know how hard it is to take the time for those things like family, friends, hobbies and ourselves. I know how “caught up” I can get, to the point where it is easy to feel overwhelmed and out of sync.
I wanted to take this time to reflect and thank all of you for our association. It may sound corny, but I wouldn’t be what I am without all of you. My family, clients, friends, professional associates, prospective clients and mentors keep me challenged, energized and refreshed. You are the ones who stimulate my mind to learn, expand and strive to get better. One of the great things about my 27+ years doing this is how much I have learned from each and every one of you. The number of casual conversations that have led me to insights and new ways of looking at things is too many for me to count.
There is a line from a song that goes: “Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right”. Well I learned a long time ago how much we all have to offer each other if we just take the time to listen. Thanks again. I hope you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving.
